Terms of Service

By accessing or using the CloudFace Vision API, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the API.

1. The Service

CloudFace Vision provides a REST API for face detection, embedding, and search powered by CloudFace Vision Engine™ ("the Service"), operated by Elephic Intelligence Private Limited ("we", "us", "Company").

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal authority to enter into this agreement on behalf of yourself or your organization. Access is granted only after explicit approval by the Company.

3. API Access and Keys

API keys are personal and non-transferable. You are responsible for all activity under your API key. Do not share, expose, or embed your API key or secret in client-side code. Report compromised keys immediately to api@cloudface-ai.com.

4. Permitted Use

Building event photo delivery applications for your own clients
Integrating face search into your own platform or product
Internal enterprise tools for photo organization and delivery
Government or institutional systems with prior written approval

5. Prohibited Use

⚠️ Any prohibited use results in immediate, permanent termination without refund.

Building any product or service that competes with CloudFace AI or CloudFace Vision
Reverse engineering, extracting, or replicating the CloudFace Vision Engine™
Reselling or sublicensing API access to third parties
Mass surveillance or tracking individuals without their consent
Any application that violates applicable law
Processing photos of minors without verified parental consent

6. Plans and Billing

API access is available on Free, Starter, Pro, and Enterprise plans as described on our pricing page. Monthly limits reset on the 1st of each calendar month. Unused calls do not carry over. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice.

7. Service Availability

We make reasonable efforts to maintain API availability but do not guarantee uptime. We are not liable for losses arising from service interruptions. Enterprise plans include SLA guarantees — contact us for details.

8. Intellectual Property

CloudFace Vision Engine™ and all associated technology, models, algorithms, and brand assets are the exclusive property of Elephic Intelligence Private Limited These Terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the API output — not the underlying technology.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Elephic Intelligence Private Limited shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access at any time for violation of these Terms. You may cancel your plan at any time. Upon termination, your API keys are immediately deactivated and your stored embeddings are deleted within 30 days.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Gurugram, Haryana, India.
