What You May Do

• Build event photo delivery platforms for photographers and organizers
• Integrate face search into apps where users explicitly consent to face recognition
• Use the API for corporate event photo management
• Build government or institutional systems with prior written approval
• Use for academic or research purposes with prior written approval

What You Must Not Do

1. No Competing Products

You may not use CloudFace Vision Engine™ to build, power, or enhance any product or service that competes — directly or indirectly — with CloudFace AI (cloudface-ai.com) or CloudFace Vision (vision.cloudface-ai.com). This includes white-label versions, rebranded products, or any platform offering event photo delivery via face recognition as a service to third parties.

2. No Surveillance

You may not use the API to track individuals without their explicit consent, monitor public spaces, build databases of individuals without consent, or enable any form of unauthorized surveillance.

3. No Illegal Processing

You may not process biometric data without a lawful basis under applicable law. In India, this means compliance with the DPDP Act 2023. In the EU, GDPR applies. You are solely responsible for your legal compliance.

4. No Reverse Engineering

You may not attempt to extract, replicate, or reconstruct the CloudFace Vision Engine™, its face recognition models, vector indexing logic, or any proprietary algorithm through any means including but not limited to: repeated API calls designed to probe model behavior, embedding analysis, or output comparison.

5. No Credential Sharing

You may not share, sell, or transfer your API key or secret to any third party. Each key is tied to a registered account and use case. Multiple accounts to circumvent rate limits are prohibited.

6. No Harmful Applications

You may not use the API to identify, target, or facilitate harm against any individual or group, including but not limited to: stalking, harassment, discrimination based on race, religion, gender, or any other protected characteristic.

Reporting Misuse

If you become aware of misuse of the CloudFace Vision API, please report it immediately to: abuse@cloudface-ai.com
